The Raide TrailTech Short was born out of a frustration with shorts that can't carry hydration and nutrition in a way that actually works on the run. Taking inspiration from running tights, Raide built that same bounce-free stability into a short — giving you a biomechanically efficient carry system for every run without needing a vest or belt. At 154g, it comes with a 360ml locking cap Hydrapak soft flask and integrates seamlessly with Raide running belts as part of the TrailTech System.

 

 

Toray DotAir Outer with Italian Liner

The 92gsm Toray DotAir outer — 85% nylon, 15% spandex — is lightweight, breathable and built to move freely across technical terrain. A 3 inch inseam keeps coverage minimal without restricting stride. The Italian-made liner sits in 205gsm recycled polyester and elastane, delivering the kind of supportive, chafe-free hold you'd expect from a tight — now in a short. Silicone grip at the liner hem keeps everything in place through every stride.

 

 

Carry System Built Into the Short

Five pockets handle everything: two large pockets, two gel pockets and one zippered pocket, all positioned to work with the body's natural movement rather than against it. The laser-perforated waistband and internal drawstring keep the fit dialled in, whilst hidden elastic bands provide pole, ice axe or layer carry for bigger days out. Pocket openings are designed to fall below Raide running belts so the two systems work together without interference — part of a complete TrailTech System built for runners who move fast and carry smart.
